Construction of the Year 2009

The construction project of Virako – the first A-class office building in Łódź – was awarded by the experts of the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, Construction and Maritime Economy as well as the Central Office of Building Supervision, with the 2nd degree award in the Construction of the Year 2009 competition, in the category of office and administration buildings. The architectural design of the Forum 76 complex was authored by Łukasz Królikowski and Krzysztof Wichliński from the Archidea studio in Łódź. In addition to the aesthetic values and architectural and technological solutions used in the construction of the facility, the competition jury awarded the investment for the speed of the implementation. The complex was built at a record speed of 12 months, from April 2008 to April 2009. Condite, a construction company from Kielce, specializing in this type of development projects, was the general contractor. The official opening of Forum 76 took place in May 2009.
